“Education is a human right with immense power to transform. On its foundation rests the cornerstones of freedom, democracy and sustainable human development.” – Kofi Anan
The Tiso Foundation’s current programmes have been refined using knowledge gained in its first decade of work which begun in 2002.
During that time, programmes and projects yielded very satisfactory results, confirming the Foundation’s wisdom of choosing education and skills development as focus areas. Through this work, many young people from poor and rural communities have been enabled to obtain qualifications and skills that have vastly enhanced their life opportunities.
We have a variety of programmes that have been changing lives for many years, and will continue to do so into the future. Feel free to browse our programmes and apply if you believe that you meet the specific criteria.
