
David is a non-executive director of Kagiso Tiso Holdings (KTH), a leading privately held
South African diversified investment holding company.
David is chairman and co-founder of Tiso Investment Holdings, an investment company with
interests in South Africa and Ghana. He is chairman of Tiso Blackstar Group, a investment
company with interests in market leading broadcast and retail marketing businesses in
South Africa and on the African continent.

He currently also serves as a non executive director on the boards of TRG Energy, a
Norwegian oil exploration & production company, Bayport Financial Services Ghana and
Quad Energy, a Ghanaian oil & gas company.
David has over 30 years of experience in banking and executive management. He was
previously head of Chase Manhattan for Southern Africa, and subsequently head of Africa
Corporate Finance at JP Morgan Chase. In addition to his role as managing director and cofounder
of Tiso Group, prior to its merger with Kagiso Trust Investments, David has served
as a non-executive director on the boards of a number of leading South African companies,
including Nedbank Group.
He is a founder trustee of the Tiso Foundation and a World Fellow of the Duke of Edinburgh
International Award.
David is an economics graduate of The London School of Economics and Political Science,
University of London.
